Gavin Peters, an Animal Health Specialist at the Caribbean Agricultural Health and Food Safety Agency (CAHFSA), was awarded a fellowship to attend the Core and Quantitative Risk courses.

We want to thank our Summer 2016 Risk Analysis Program participants. We had over 30 participants from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Suriname, Thailand, the United States, Vietnam, and Zambia.

This summer's course offerings included two relatively new courses, Global Food Law and Regulation and Epidemiology for Risk Analysis, as well as our Core Program (Overview, Risk Management, Qualitative Risk Assessment, and Risk Communication) and Quantitative Risk Assessment Program.

We also want to congratulate our participants who received fellowships to attend most or all of our summer training courses. This year, we have six fellows who are staying for 1-2 months after the courses to receive additional training in risk analysis and work on individual research projects.

To learn more about our courses and fellowship programs, check out our catalogue and fellowships pages.

Until next year!
