JIFSAN's pre-conference session is entitled Enhanced Food Safety Through Risk Analysis the pre-conference session will focus on the fact that risk is everywhere. With regard to food safety it can be chemical, microbial, toxins, allergens, or physical objects. There can be large costs associated with such food safety risks both in terms of social and medical costs, but also impacts on profitability.
